Trailhead

Novawest has, at times, invested in other projects as a passive investor.  Most recently, in 2007, Novawest, along with a few joint venturers, participated in the capital stack for a residential project outside of Chester, California, known as Trailhead.  Trailhead is a single family development along the shores of the crystalline Lake Almanor.  Envisioned as a second home community with common areas, including a beach, on the shores of the Lake, the developer horizontally developed the site and marketed the homesites. 

While this is an unconventional approach for Novawest it will, from time to time place its own capital and that of others looking for opportunities in select markets.
