The project portfolio is designed to give a feel for Novawest’s development history and philosophy. The Novawest team is known for directing design solutions that are contextual and appropriate for the sites involved. Long before the construction begins, a master plan emerges that calls for site improvements based on community values and geographical context. In addition to quality design, the plans incorporate market-driven features. Our experience has shown that investor returns are maximized when the product anticipates the market and not just responds to it. In keeping with this philosophy, Novawest sees the window to the future opening on small, mixed-use infill projects, clustered residential communities, a range of products for the baby-boomer demographic and adaptive re-use of our existing building stock and current suburban sprawl. The recent additions to the project portfolio follow this trajectory as will future acquisitions.
